What Is Pain Coaching?


Pain coaching is a personalised support service that helps you navigate your pain journey, set realistic goals, and find strategies to improve your quality of life. Coaching focuses on practical steps and actionable plans for your present and future, rather than delving into your past as you might do in therapy. Each session is a compassionate conversation where YOUR needs are heard. Coaching meets you where you are now. There's no one size fits all approach with coaching - YOU'RE the one driving progress on YOUR terms. Coaching helps you set realistic goals so you can shift from coping with chronic pain to creating a fulfilling life despite it. The coaching process helps you regain control, reduce the impact of pain on your daily life and find new ways to thrive. While doctors address the medical aspects of pain, and therapy can address past issues, coaching directly helps you navigate the personal, emotional, and practical challenges pain brings.
